• Participating in wireless revolution

Sapotech is taking part in an international EU funded project to develop wireless communications technologies for the industry. The Reliable Industrial Communication Over the Air project (ReICOvAir) aims to enable the Advanced manufacturing and processing industry to use wireless communication instead of traditional wired connections.

Sapotech is one of the companies participating in the international project consortium. The comprehensive software and hardware that will be developed during the project would enable Sapotech customers to enjoy a quicker installation of REVEAL CAST, REVEAL TAP or REVEAL 360. “This means that we will be able to save time for our customers by installing any of the REVEAL family products much faster, therefore saving money for them, especially for their IT department” says CEO Saku Kaukonen.

At the end of ReICOvAir, the industry will finally be able to break down the barriers to the use of wireless communication in the for the production process industry.
