Sapotech is about to deliver the third Reveal CAST system to one of our key Scandinavian customers for imaging the bottom surface of steel slabs at exit of their continuous casting machine.
There are already two systems up and running there thus this new delivery is a solid proof of our customer’s satisfaction in Reveal CAST technology.
Reveal CAST uses state-of-the art imaging units, laser illumination and its own algorithmic technology to generate high resolution images from hot slabs, blooms, billets and rolled products. Through the IoT, all data is available online for immediate feedback to operators and also documented for later tracking and process improvement.
