The highly anticipated METEC, the world’s leading trade fair for metallurgical technology, took place in Düsseldorf from the 12th to the 16th of June 2023.
The fair was brimming with stimulating conversations and fruitful exchanges with various companies. This year, Sapotech added an exciting twist by hosting a raffle, offering participants a chance to win a Reveal CAST demo for their caster.
The primary purpose of the Reveal CAST surface inspection demo is to provide a firsthand experience of the system’s performance within an actual casting environment. Typically, the duration of the demo is 3-5 days, ensuring minimal disruption to regular production activities. As a result, customers gain valuable information from the Reveal CAST software, which presents inspected slabs, blooms, or billets. Sapotech has successfully conducted numerous demonstrations in real caster environments, effectively highlighting the significant advantages of in-line surface inspection. Frequently, these demos serve as the initial step towards procuring the comprehensive Reveal CAST system.
The lucky winner of the demo project was selected during the final day of METEC, and they have been personally informed about their victory. The demo itself is scheduled to take place in either the fall of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024.
