After purchasing Reveal CAST for top and bottom surface inspection, our customer decided to add also surface inspection for the side of the slabs. This can be easily done, and it is one of the great advantages for our customers because Sapotech products can always adapt to the customer specific needs. For example, with Reveal CAST, it is always possible to update the system and add more components and features.
Reveal CAST offers several applications and options for our customers to inspect the surface condition of the product throughout the whole production process from the very beginning of the continuous casting to the final stages. Some of the defects that can be detected are: longitudinal cracks, corner cracks, roller marks, deep scratches, sticking defects at the top or bottom of the slabs, among others.
